Our respite nights provide a fun and safe environment for those affected by disabilities and their siblings one Saturday evening a month for most of the year. This time is celebrated both by kids participating and the adults that get a few regular hours to themselves with the peace of mind that Embrace provides through our involved and energetic staff.

Many parents and caregivers of those affected by disabilities are living on an isolated, exhausted island and are in desperate need of trusted care for their children. Through respite night, Embrace builds trusting relationships with parents and caregivers while providing a safe, fun, and inclusive environment so that they can have a break and recharge. Respite also serves as a great way to get to know the Embrace program and staff to make attending other events more comfortable and familiar—we are a friendly bunch here to help.
